These terms are an agreement between you and [Operating entity — to be confirmed by legal] ("CNS", "we", "us"). They apply when you use CNS to search, register, renew, set primary names, or edit records for .ctc names on Creditcoin. By using CNS you accept these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) and legally able to enter into these terms. You may not use CNS if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a jurisdiction where use of the service is prohibited, or if you are subject to applicable sanctions or export restrictions.
CNS is an interface only. CNS does not custody wallets, private keys, tokens, names, or funds. You are responsible for your wallet, approvals, transactions, gas fees, and records you submit. If you lose access to your wallet or private keys, CNS cannot recover your names or funds.
Registering or renewing a name requires payment of the onchain registration fee in CTC plus network gas. All fees are paid directly to the smart contract and are non-refundable once the transaction is confirmed, including if you registered a name in error, no longer want it, or lose access to your wallet. Names are registered for a fixed term. If a name is not renewed before it expires, it becomes available and may be registered by anyone else; the current contract does not provide a post-expiry grace period. You are solely responsible for renewing your names on time. Pricing may change for future registrations and renewals.
A registered name is represented as an NFT controlled by the holder's wallet. Registering a name does not grant trademark rights or any other intellectual-property rights in the underlying word or phrase, and does not guarantee the name does not infringe the rights of others. Certain names may be reserved or restricted. CNS may refuse interface support for names or records that are illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, malicious, or impersonating.
The CNS smart contract is upgradeable. The operator can deploy contract upgrades, reserve names, adjust the service, and operate offchain infrastructure such as resolver APIs and metadata services. Operator actions are intended for security fixes, planned upgrades, and policy enforcement and are described in the project's public documentation.
Transactions, names, records, wallet addresses, metadata, and fees may be public onchain. Confirmed blockchain transactions may be irreversible and cannot be changed, canceled, refunded, or deleted by CNS.
CNS is currently offered on Creditcoin testnet as a beta service for evaluation. Names, records, and balances on testnet have no monetary value and may be reset, migrated, or discontinued at any time. In all environments, name availability, pricing, RPC responses, explorer data, and transaction status can change before confirmation. CNS is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and may be interrupted, changed, rate-limited, or unavailable, especially during testnet, maintenance, or third-party outages.
Do not use CNS to submit illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, malicious, or impersonating names or records, or to interfere with the service (including attempts to bypass rate limits or attack supporting infrastructure). You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, for any taxes arising from your use of the service, and for verifying all transaction details before signing.
Nothing in CNS is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Names and tokens are not offered as investments, and CNS makes no representation about the present or future value of any name or token.
CNS may rely on wallets, WalletConnect, RPC providers, explorers, IPFS pinning services, hosting providers, and browsers. CNS is not responsible for third-party services, fees, outages, policies, security, or data practices.
The CNS app, site, documentation, and branding are owned by the operator or its licensors. You may not copy or misrepresent CNS branding to mislead users. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CNS and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your names or records, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CNS and its creators, contributors, operators, and maintainers are not liable for lost funds, gas, names, records, keys, data, profits, opportunities, or other indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
CNS may suspend or restrict access to the interface or offchain services (such as resolver APIs and metadata uploads) for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. Because the contract is onchain, suspension of the interface does not by itself remove your control of names held by your wallet.
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law — to be confirmed by legal], and disputes will be resolved in [venue/forum — to be confirmed by legal], except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
CNS may update the service or these terms. For material changes we will give reasonable advance notice through the app or official project channels. Continued use after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and CNS regarding the service. The English version controls unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
Questions about these terms: [official contact channel/email — to be confirmed by legal].

This policy describes how [Operating entity — to be confirmed by legal] ("CNS", "we") handles information when you use the CNS app and related services. CNS is designed to collect as little information as possible. It does not require an account, email address, or password to use the app.
The app may process wallet addresses, selected network, .ctc names, records you enter (such as avatar, profile URL, bio, social handles, and email if you choose to add them), transaction hashes, transaction status, and local app preferences such as cached names, selected network, and manual disconnect state.
When the app calls CNS offchain services (such as the resolver API or metadata preparation), our servers receive the requested name, wallet address, request signature, and technical data including IP address, timestamps, and browser information. We use this to operate the service, enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, and debug failures.
We use the information above only to provide and operate the service, secure it against abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability. We do not use it for behavioral advertising and we do not sell personal information.
Names, records, wallet addresses, metadata, and transactions submitted to Creditcoin become public blockchain data. Anything you put in records — including an email address or social handles — is publicly visible and permanently associated with your wallet address. CNS cannot remove public onchain data or control how explorers, nodes, wallets, indexers, or other users store and display it. Think carefully before adding personal details to records.
Name metadata (such as the name, expiry, and generated image) is uploaded to IPFS through a pinning provider. IPFS content is public, may be copied to other nodes worldwide, and generally cannot be deleted once published.
CNS may store settings and cached name data in your browser local storage to keep the app usable between sessions. You can clear this data through your browser settings. The app does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
When you use wallets, WalletConnect, RPC endpoints, explorers, IPFS pinning services, or hosting/CDN providers, those providers may receive technical data such as IP address, wallet address, network, transaction hash, requested name, or browser information. Their own privacy policies apply.
Our infrastructure and third-party providers may process data in countries other than where you live. [Cross-border transfer disclosures and safeguards — to be confirmed by legal.]
Server logs and operational records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized. Public blockchain and IPFS data are outside our control and are retained by those networks indefinitely.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will honor valid requests for data held on our servers; we cannot modify or erase data recorded on public blockchains or IPFS. [Jurisdiction-specific rights disclosures (e.g., GDPR, Korea PIPA, CCPA) — to be confirmed by legal.]
CNS is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. [Minimum age threshold per applicable law — to be confirmed by legal.]
CNS uses reasonable safeguards, but no wallet, browser, network, smart contract, RPC, or online service can be guaranteed to be fully secure or always available.
We may update this policy. For material changes we will give reasonable advance notice through the app or official project channels, and update the date above.
For privacy questions or rights requests: [official contact channel/email and privacy officer — to be confirmed by legal].
